I haven't entered any of the contests,or made any submissions,due to a lack of a decent camera,(OK and no real skills or talent either),but I think they should be published as they are submitted.Trying to fairly judge 117 Marders or T-34s all at once is alittle overwhelming I would think."Sudden Submission Syndrome" would set in for me and I know I would wind up viewing everything as "me too" work instead of giving each kit a fair look.Seeing a realy well done submission early on might push a guy to stretch his own skills a bit,or help solve a build problem,or tickle loose an idea or two.
For what its worth if the submission has a decent write up-how tos-tweaks,resin & PE parts used etc.I think that should count to some degree.Perhaps a secondary category within the contest in that regard?
