Hi guys,

I agree with Alex Hill that 'judging' should be open to all TL'ers.
I also suggest to make a list for the year to come on the topics for the contests.
I think if people know that, for instance, november 2006 will be the 'Japanese armour' or 'Churchill' month, there will be a lot more kits posted then there are now. A lott of us has 'specialisations', say Sherman, SU armour, modern, scratch build, etc., and knowing beforehand what contest is to come in that and that month will inspire one to get a kit finished good and in time, and not hurriedly just for the sake of the contest. For the 'warning' time now available, it has just to fit in the greater 'schedule of life', so to say. For example, I had a Cromwell MK I, near to completion, just a few days work left on it, when the British contest came up, but I was working on an other kit at that moment, and I was realy in the 'flow' of it too. If I had known this, say a few months earlier, I guess I would have been a contestant too. (Not to win it of course, but just for the fun of it!)

Cheers,
Alex
