Panzertracts has a book on the subject (Panzerkampfwagen VI P (Sd.Kfz.181) - Leopard and Tiger (P))! It's got just about all the info you're going to need. As far as I can tell, the DML kit has the wrong deflectors (the later, banana-shaped ones). Needless to say, there is more in the detail work than anything else. Good luck!
