Yes Paul, I agree. A few things comes to mind when you mentioned "Beginners".
Firstly, bearing in mind beginners need more time to build. Among the "beginner" or "intermediate", or "advanced", there might some that has more experience than others within the category itself.
I just hope there will be more positive and constructive criticism rather than members showing off their expertise! As a beginner myself, I hate people telling me things that I should or shouldn't do to my finished models. Instead, I prefer members who have guided me. Like showing me references and links to backup their feedbacks.
Lastly, I just want to give you my feedback as a beginner. I love to look at the advanced entries on TL but never had the courage to join in the contest because of my skill level. I think its honorable of you to come up with a contest for people like us. Thanks! |
