Well, for what its worth, its ready for paint now. I have dropped the rail car as it was the wrong type anyway. Its meant to depict one of the first 5 chasis, which had the tear drop style track skids. Some of these had the PZ IV style turret bussel and some didn't, since I seem to have lost mine, this obiously was one that didnt have it installed.
The tracks are a combination of DML Ferdinand and Modelkasten Ferdinand links. I was going to just use the MK, but after building half a run using all links with guide horns (as would have been right for this tank) I realized the MK kit did not allow for this. So I had to substitute the DML links and convert to later style track... |
