Finally, the spent case ejection basket. To be totally honest, I have no idea how this thing works in real life. I couldn't assemble a difinitive collection of pictures that showed all the angles and details necessary to make it totally accurate, which allowed me some creative license. I captured the general shape and main attachment points but had to guess at the rest. The frame is made from 6 separate pieces of steel wire soldered together. The mesh is extra-small stainless steel made by On The Mark Models. The mesh is not the right scale and doesn't drape like the real thing but it gives a reasonable impression. This contraption doesn't sit on the gun as well as I would like and I will most likely tweak it a little before final assembly (after it's all painted).

I welcome any suggestions for improvements to any part of this project but be quick because once I paint it, I won't revisit it.
