Hi Bill: It's my faulty photography -- the balkenkruez relects much more light than seeing it with the naked eye. I added muting weathering over them but the photos don't reflect it well. Thnx for sharing your observation, though.
BTW, this isn't the Jagdpanzer IV A-0 but the "interim solution" Jagdpanzer IV L/70A -- it had the boxy fighting compartment whereas the Jdpz IV A-0 was pretty sleek.
