Jim,
Congratulations on another stunning model, I particularly liked the "double I" block tracks as they don't turn up often on Shermans, but photos prove they were used. Nice touch!
A couple of constructive points about the figures -
1. Shovels GS & picks were always carried thrust between the rear of the small pack & the soldier's back. Must have been uncomfortable, but the '38-pattern webbing had no mounting straps for these items. This was only remedied with the introduction of the lightweight '44-pattern webbing, which didn't see widespread service until the Malayan Emergency & Korea.
2. The Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk.1 rifle had all-wooden furniture from the front of the bolt & receiver right up to the foresight & muzzle, so no exposed portion of the barrel would have been visible between bolt & muzzle. Slings were also webbing, not leather (although I have seen photos of No.4 Mk.1 sniper rifles with telescopic sights & the US leather sling as used on the M1 Garand, but these were specialist equipment not available to the average squaddie).
Hope these points help, this latest model of your now adorns the desktop of my computer at work!

Cheers,
Chris.
