If I was to start it again I would begin with the Mouse Armour Series 11A vietnam conversion set as this has good wheels and the correct front bumper. At this address.

The front mud gaurds are simply cut away with a saw and the sloping section is a piece of plasticard.
The chassis is just shortened to the correct length as was the exhaust.
The most difficult section is the rear ammo racks. I did this by cutting off the rear of the body and building the new curved sections from an old coke tin. This required lots of filler and was a bit fiddly. You also need to cut a slot in the bulkhead behind the front seats for the front gun wheel to fit through.
The rear seats are just made out of putty on a peice of plastic card.
