Very interesting and well done weathering, William. You've done a good, clean sob assembly and your painting has created the look of a true veteran.
I have acouple of simple suggestions that go only a very little way beyond the sob approach:
For the rear tarp, the look will be more realistic (or at least as realistic as the plastic piece can look) if you scrape and undercut the inner edges where the frame pieces go, so that it looks like the tarp is folded and tucked under. A step beyond that is to cover the tarp's cloth areas with tissue paper held on by liquid glue, or coat the plastic with liquid glue and use an old piece of fine weave cloth (like an old handkerchief or even a tee shirt as a last resort) to press a cloth pattern into the smooth plastic. Another way to achieve this texture is to use medium to fine grit sandpaper and go once or twice around the cloth areas, then go once - and only once - side to side. That is, make fine scratches at basically right angles to themselves, then be carefull in painting not to cover them up.
Also, a vehice carrying such a rather large and one-ended load would probably show the rear suspension compressed and the front extended - back end down (more obvious) & front end up some (usually less obvious). This would require only very simple adjustments in the plastic parts to give a better sense of life and reality. You may have considered this, but the photo angles make it hard for me to see if you have done it.
Congratulations on your Afrika Korp Horch!
