Yes, I am the one who posted earlier, and I believe you responded (thanks).

You are correct that it should be covered with stuff on the rear deck. However the last couple of projects I have done were Shermans, and frankly I was tired of covering tanks in stowage. Also, I wanted to concentrate more on the painting and weathering techniques. I did not want to go over board on dirtying it up, just hoping to balance between filth and showing what is underneath that filth.
