M-8

This is the Italeri M-8 Armored car. I used the Eduard PE set and the Verlinden bags. The interior was partial scratch built. I made the storage racks using sheet syrene, and used lead wire to run electrical and radio cables. You can't see it on the pictures but the drivers compartment has the rifle racks and canteens, and all of the J-boxes for the intercom system. I chose to make this a late version of the M-8, not only because the PE set is for it, but also because I am in the Military here at Fort Knox and I got some realy good pictures of a late version. The trailer came from the Ialeri Jeep kit and used Italeri, Tamiya and resin bags to fill it up. The entire vehicle was painted using Tamiya Olive Drab and weathered with oil paints. The bags where painted using Tamiya, Humbrol and Vallejo paints.
