German SS Pea Pattern Camo.

I used ModelMaster enamels to paint this figure. I used a base color of Dark Earth #2054, then I put strips or patches of Skin Tone Warm Tint #2003 and Dark Green #1710 over the base. I then peppered the colors with spots of the opposite colors and threw in Panzer Olivgrun #2097 for a lighter
green spot. I did no blending or mixing, all colors were straight out of the bottle, I'm lazy like that! After allowing sufficient drying time, I oversprayed the whole figure with "Future" floor polish. I allowed this
to dry at least 24 hours. I then took "Turpenoid" (turpentine like thinner) and mixed in oil colors of Burnt Umber and Lamp Black. This was my wash, more Umber the first wash, and then more on the Black side the second wash. When this was thoroughly dry, I dry brushed the figure using (I think, the name and #'s are worn off the bottle) Afrika Dunkelgrau #2103, kind of a sand color. I then mixed some of the Afrika
Dunkelgrau #2103 into the Testor's Dullcote Lacquer and sprayed the whole figure. I then did some more drybrushing where needed, it seems the dry brushing "holds" better on the Matte surface. That is the method I employed, and man was I surprised at the outcome, by far the best effort of mine to date.
