"Die Ubergabe"

A scene somewhere on the Eastern Front: a Russian soldier surrenders to a mean looking group of SS grenadiers and cavalry-men. The half truck is the infamous Sd.Kfz. 251/1 ausf. D mit Schwerer Wurfrahmen better known as "Stuka zu Fuss". The Tamiya model was easy to build and slightly modified. The horse was not so easy; this is definitely my last Verlinden horse I ever build! I liked building this diorama because it was my first small sized one.
