BMW R75

1:9 Scale Esci/ Dragon BMW R75 with a Rider conversion. Rider has been converted from a Felgendarme (quite a bit of soft plastic shaved off and new oufit and a hat sculpted from putty) to a DAK trooper. Bike was build as a tropical version w / air filter and and was painted desert yellow.Construction of the kit and painting took around 200 hours. Mostly due to really bad instruction sheet, poor fit of a lot of parts and the fact that a lot of the clothing on the figure had to be resculpted. The whole model was painted with acrylics and was weathered with pastels. It won 1st place in the figures category at the Shearwater Show 2000.
