KV-IB (Applique Armour)

This is the Tamiya model of the KV-IB with applique armour in 1/35th scale built out of the box. I first painted it thoroughly in green, then a white coat and drenchmarks, as if it had been in a drissle of rain.
Some of the pictures are taken outdoors in the early spring, probably March. The bomb crater is a bit ostentatious, but if you want to go about dioramas the easy way, step outside. It does not always turn out well, but once in a while the result is very good indeed.
