Buffel, Leopard 2 armoured recovery vehicle.

This is a complete resin kit from the German company Elite Modellbau. The original vehicle is based on the Leopard 2 chassis and is in use with German and Dutch armed forces.
My model depicts a Bundeswehr Büffel during KFOR duty. The Elite resin tracks where replaced with HKCW Leopard 2 workable tracks. The running gear came from an Italeri Leopard 2 kit replacing all of the Elite parts.
All painting and weathering was done with Tamiya acrylics. Additional dusting effects where achieved with pastel chalks.
