Aufklarungspanzer Hetzer

The model is based on the New Connection conversion kit for the DML Hetzer. In general the New Connection kit is excellent. Especially the cannon and its support are superb. However, I replaced the ammunition holders and cartridge boxes with scratch built parts as the original kit parts were far too thick and undetailed. Model is painted in the camouflage scheme that according to Walter J. Spielberger was used in BMM's Hetzers in November-December 1944. I used the scheme despite of the fact that there is no evidence that BMM built these vechiles. However, the only existing photographs of SIG 33 Hetzer were taken at BMM factory Yard in Czechoslovakia.
