Buffalo IV diorama, 79th Armoured Division, Germany 1945

The Buffalo and the universal carrier are both Airfix kits. The Buffalo features a scratchbuilt cab interior, new .30 cal machine guns and fenders. The carrier features new, thinner upper sides and scratchbuilt Wasp Mk.IIC equipment. The figures are from conversions from Airfix, Matchbox and Prieser items.

The base is a sheet of clear acrylic, painted dark grey-green on the bottom and set into a picture frame. A hole is cut into the acrylic and the Buffalo epoxied into it. The wave patterns are added from gloss gel medium and the foam from white acrylic paint.
