Hetzer, NWE

This is the DML Early Hetzer and it is probably the closest I have come to building a kit out of the box in a long time. I was able to limit myself to only a few modifications including: spare PE for the jack, bolts for the schurzen, some detail on the hatch, new brackets for the jack block and finally I filled in the massive hole under the mantlet. The foilage is a mixture of Eduard Oak leaves and dried flower stems.

Overall this was a fun and easy kit to build and I would recommend it to anyone. The only slow down I encountered were the individual track links. As for the foilage I have liked the stuff ever since I saw it in a build article by Steve Zaloga. However, the next time I use it I'll paint before I cut it out.
