Soviet 76mm regimental gun

These are two kits by ICM in 1/35th scale. They are very similar to the German Pak 36 37mm ATG. Because of the similarity I used the Eduard Pak 36 photo-etched set to detail both guns. Though the shield on the 76mm Regimental gun is slightly different, I used the photo-etched set as is. It isn't totally correct, but I like the looks of the Eduard shield much better. Actually the ICM shield is accurate, but very thick. I replaced the barrel on the 45mm kit with a barrel from Elephant. The barrel on the 76mm Regimental gun was scratch-built using aluminium tubing, brass fret and plastic. Assembly photos show all the brass pieces primered prior to painting. Handles were replaced with brass rod and rivets made with a Waldron punch & die. Ramrods and were made with styrene rod.
