Leopard A4

This is the older Tamiya kit of the A4 Leopard, with the addition of Eduard PE set. The kit itself went together quite well, but as with older kits some holes had to be filled. Some modifications were scratch built to convert it to represent the Canadian version of this kitten. Handles, brush guards for the smoke candles and various other small things were replaced with brass wire. Having CFB Petawawa just down the road, and climbing all over the vehicle helped pick out some of the details. The model was painted with Tamiya green, earth and black then washed and drybrushed. This represents a vehicle from the Royal Canadian Dragoons, 23 Alpha, located here at CFB Petawawa.
