Some years ago I saw a very interesting war photograph in the Russian modeling magazine "M Hobby". There was a GAZ lorry full of reaping and two soviet young girls were sitting on the top. The caption mentioned that it was harvest time at Kirov Smolenski Kolchoz in 1942. The idea stuck in my mind. At that time the only available WW2 soviet lorry kit in Greek market was Italeri’s ZIS. The soldier becomes from spare parts with a resin head from Hornet, while the two female figures come from Preiser. Reaps were made from brush hair. Everything was painted and weathered with acrylics.
