Merkava Mk I Main Battle Tank

This is Tamiya's Merkava Mk I Main Batle Tank. The kit was built out of the box with the exception of the stowage. The water cans come fom Academy, and the tarps, tent rolls and blankets are from Firestorm Hobbies. The kit was painted using the preshading method, using Tamiya and Gunze acrylics and Johnson Shine Magic as the clear coat. The kit falls together as do most Tamiya kits. This was the first modern AFV I had built for quite some time.
