M4A3 Sherman

This is the old Tamiya M4A3 Sherman kit. It is built out of the box and everything seen is from the kit except three jerry cans on the back, the rope holding it all down and the antenna. I modified the figure slightly so he could hold onto the machine gun. Hand painted with Model Master enamels and weathered with pastel chalks. The mud is made from paint and model railroad dirt, brushed on, and then a wash was put over the top. Made to represent a tank of the 379th Regiment, 95 Infantry Division, western Germany in January 1945.
