1612 German Panzerjager DML

This is a 1/16th scale figure I did about two years ago and think its one of my more successful. There are about 30 figures out out at this scale by Dragon and I have most of them. They are really well designed and sculpted and for super detailers they are a good place to start. The figure was built straight out of the box with the parts being built and painted as subassemblies. These where all painted as per the box illustrations. I also painted the base w/ gloss black and filled the hollow interior w/ a mixture of sand and plaster to provide a solid mass for the base. I also scanned the type off the original instruction sheet and made it to fit the cut out mounting area on the front of the base and printed this out and then glue that to the base. The uniforms was painted using regular Tamiya model paints and then the piping and details brought out with artists arcylics paint.
