M113 ACAV

This is a US Army M113ACAV during the Vietnam conflict (1968). The little diorama features an ambush-scene with the vehicle (1:35) in the middle of it. The ACAV is the Tamiya model built almost out of the box. An Eduard PE-set, Friulmodellismo tracks and several scratch-built modifications contribute to some further detailing. The figures are from Kirin ("Full Metal Jacket") and Tamiya (with some minor modifications).
