SU 85 , Eastern Front, Winter 1943

This is an SU-85 knocked out by members of the 3rd SS Early winter 1943. In February 1943 the elite 3rd SS were pulled from France to help the cause on the Eastern Front. These two are admiring their fine shooting, using the newly developed “Panzerfaust”.

The kit is a Tamiya SU 85 with some scratch built parts and the figures are from Verlinden’s winter grunts. Diorama made from Sea Foam.
