IPMS Vancouver Fall Show 2002

Here is a selection of tank models from today's (October 12, 2002) IPMS Vancouver (Canada) Annual Fall Show. As always there was a good selection of excellent tanks models to look at. Unfortunately I could only spend an hour there, I did manage to photograph about half of the models on display.

I did witness, and partly instigate, a bit of drama. A modeller who wishes to remain anonymous was going to demonstrate to me his 1/16th scale RC Tamiya Tiger I (pictures 29 and 30), when he switched the model on it raced across the table and flattened a T34/85 (picture 31), several modellers commented that a model Tiger I destroying a model T34/85 was kind of fitting. The aftermath is shown in picture 1 at the top. Notice the T34/85 now is missing its upper hull and turret.
