SCOUT CAR M3 A1 / SOVIET ARMY / YUGOSLAVIA 1945

Model by Jean-Phillippe Uhring

The kit is from ITALERI (also available from ZVEZDA) , a very old MAX kit from the seventies!

Many ejection pin marks must be filled with putty. PE from Eduard is needed to bring this model to actual standards. The wheels come direct from the TAMIYA's M8, and the entire vehicle is painted with olive drab from the Tamiya range of acrylic colours.

The vehicle looks dirty, finishing touches of oil and "micro painting" help to achieve this work.

Decals and machine guns are from Verlinden.

The Scout Car M3A1 was delivered to Russia , like many other types of tanks and vehicles , thanks to the lend lease plan.

Markings : M3A1 SCOUT CAR from the 17th Guards Mechanised Corps ( Donkey insignia), 4th Guards Mechanised Corps during the fighting in Yugoslavia, 1945 .
