FT 17 Char Canon, 304th tank brigade, October 1918.

Model by Jean-Phillippe Uhring

RPM's kit is a challenge for any modeller ! The base kit is good , but needs a lot of personnal work and the result is worth the effort.

RPM PE parts and link to link tracks were used to give a better look to this interesting French WW I light tank.

Acrylic paints from TAMIYA were used with finishing touches of "micro painting".

Markings :

The tank is one of the 304 th TANK BRIGADE which fought in october 1918 in FRANCE ,in the VARENNES EN ARGONNE forest ,under the command of COL. GEORGES S.PATTON .
The playing-card insignia was an unit marking used by French tanks at this time .
