M48A3

This is the old Tamiya kit of the M48A3 with motorization holes filled. Handles, fenders, light guards and other small details were replaces with brass or plastic stock. The sand bag parapet on the turret was made with epoxy putty which was sometimes used in Vietnam for convoy duty for protection from RPG attacks. The vehicle was painted in Tamiya Olive Drab, washed and given multiple over sprays of lighter colors for faded effect. AFV Club M48 track link set was then installed.
