Type 94 TK Tankette

This is a gem of a little kit is from Fine Molds. The actual tank was used mainly in China but was also encountered throughout the Pacific. I didn't add much to this kit. P.E. straps were added to the tools, a wire for the horn, a brace for the driver's hatch, handles replaced with brass wire, MV leneses for the lights and an Aber P.E. chain with brass wire hook for the right side engine hood.

The kit was finished with Tamiya acrylics and Alclad metalics for the tracks, MG ball mount, exhuast and tools. Weathering was a combination of Windsor-Newton oil and water colors, Rustall, chalk, pencil lead, thinned Tamiya acrylics and Hudson & Allen mud. Compare this tank with the Tamiya M4A3 Sherman in the background.
