M5A1 Stuart

Model by Eric Bachmann

This was one of my favourite models to build. I had been building German Armor models for a while, and I felt like going back to American armour. I am 14 years old, and I received this model for Christmas. I hadn't really researched much for this tank, but I still wanted to build it. The overall colour is a Model Master olive drab, which is a very good colour. I experimented a little bit with this model than I had with my other ones. I used a Sharpie marker to paint the wheels, but it turned out too glossy. So I took some art chalk and coloured the wheels in. I am most proud about the lower hull of the tank. I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you which model it is. It is a Tamiya M5A1, a very good kit. The only two problems I had were fitting the upper hull to the lower hull and the tracks (the tracks were my fault). I would recommend this kit to anyone, and it is very cheap. Any comments or tips would be great.
