A.E.C Matador and 5.5'' gun

This is the Accurate Armour late production A.E.C Matador medium artillery tractor and 5.5'' gun, the crew and infantry are from the Ultracast range. The tractor has been lightly modified with the addition of air lines, air taps, electrical connection points, brake lines, brake arms and the various grab handles which don't come with the kit. Best reference for these modifications is the drivers maintainence handbook which is available from Groucho publishing. I also rebuilt the window framing to get a better seat for the glazing. The markings are modified from the decal sheet to show a vehicle from 121 Medium Regiment (West Riding), with additional markings from Archer lettering sets.

The gun is pretty much made O.O.B except for a milliput transport cover on the gun sight. The crew are also virtually standard save for swapping the heads for Hornet items. The infantryman is standard with the exception of an arm swap to show him holding a mug.
