T34/85, 1944

This is a Tamiya T34/85 kit. I used late type track links from Maquette, Spiderweb road wheels from Tank Workshop, engine grill from an unkown Japanese company, MV lenses for the headlight and a Jordi Rubio barrel. Scratchbuilts include commander hatch, front fenders.

Camouflage is taken from page 215 and 253 of T-34 Mityczna Bron, Robert Michulec, Armagedon. I also experimented Pigments purchased from an art store on the kit.Mixed serveral colours of pigment with taltine and applied the mix to the kit. Pigment is easier to handle with than Tamiya putty which I had tried on another kit. The only drawback of pigment is it chips off quite easily. Apply a coat of flat clear finish can keep pigment stay on the model.
