This is the Revell Opel Maultier. It was detailed with an Eduard photo-etched kit (#35587), a Trakz tarp, Friulmodelismo metal track (ATL-20) and Tank Work Shop resin tires (#1049). It was painted using Tamiya colours and washed with oils, followed by a dry brush with Humbrol colours.
The figures are Warriors RSO Crew SS3 (#5448), a resin figure of unknown origin and a SS MG gunner and loader in metal of an unknown origin. They were painted using the "DOT" method. All material was painted using Vallejo colours and the skin tones with oils. Here is the breakdown of the colours. The MG gunner was painted a base of V871, with 1st, 2nd and 3rd colours of V896, V833 and V895, while the overcoat is V830. The ammunition carrier is a base of V873 followed by V822, V826 and V824 with an overcoat of V893. The figure standing on the side of the road, he is the resin piece, received a base of V871 with V896, V833 and V895 and his grenade case is V893.
The stone bridge is a CD item (#148) it was first painted black and followed by many dry brushes of different shades of greys and browns. The ground work is plaster with sand, painted a dark brown and then literally dry brushed with earth tone pigments to achieve the dirt look. The grass is static grass, air brushed a dark green and then dry brushed with different shades of greens and at the end highlighted with a green and yellow mix. The water is made with Envirotex, and tinted with Tamiya clear blue and green. Afterwards white was applied to the highlights, and leaves from Plus Models were put in before it dried. A layer of Artist Acrylic gel was used to represent the movement of the water. After everything was dry, several layers of Future were applied.
