Tiger Grooming

This scene depicts a Tiger crew performing regular maintenance on the engine somewhere on the Eastern Front. The model is the Tamyia Tiger I Late version with Verlinden's detailing and engine sets. The engine set fit was a challenge and I had to make adjustments. I found the engine fans lacking in detail and reworked them a Dremel to suite my taste. I also used, for the first time, Zimm-it-rite for the zimmerit.

The model was painted with Testor enamels. Weathering effects include washes, dry brushing and pastels. I used pastels mixed with water and scenic grasses for mud. The figures are from various Tamyia kits.
