Nike-Hercules SAM

This Nike-Hercules SAM is an OLD Revell kit (1/35?) with all kinds of moving parts which I promptly glued in place. I was fortunate to take some pictures of the real thing while on an ex at White Sands missile range New Mexico. Plently of Hudson & Allen solder in this kit - I think I used close to 4 feet of the stuff! In addition to the hydraulics I added mesh service platforms and numerous pumps and reserviors. The missile is about 16" long. I like to compete it just to confound the judges - It has been entered in the ordnance category alonside MLRS and M7 Priests, and some folks have told me it should go in the aircraft category!
