BMP-1

This is a BMP-1 used by Syrian Army in the Yom Kippur conflict during 1973. There are no marks or insignias as these vehicles arrived just before the start of the war, and were urgently sent to the front. This brought added troubles to the syrian army: they had no idea how to do adequate maintainance on these vehicles and a considerable number of them were lost due to simple problems, specially on the tracks. Because they were imediattley sent to front I applied light weathering.

You may noticed the Sagger missile has been fired and not been replaced yet by the crew. To tell the truth, I had to photograph the model before assemble the missile. The kit is in 1-35th scale and is from Dragon.
