M10 Tank Destroyer

This the very good Academy kit with the Eduard PE set and Italeri tracks. The Academy tracks are good but too long. The Eduard PE has a lot of pieces and is worth the money.

The model was airbrushed with Revell colours and washed with black oil colours. Drybrushing was done with grey artist chalk. The markigs are sprayed with the Eduard masks which are included in the PE set. The "dirt" is real earth and little stones mixed with a brown coloured paint. The hedgecutter, which often was used in the Normandy, is from Custom Dioramics. The model represents a vehicle used in France during 1944.

This model took me 4 month to build.
