Euromissile Roland

I built this Roland SAM over a year ago. It was originally sold as a complete kit by RN Modelle, Germany, but quality and detail of the parts were the worst I've ever have seen. I decided to scratch-build the vehicle from a Revell 10 to Mil Gl truck, using styrene sheet, wire, MR resin wheels and the necessary parts from the RN kit. It was quite a challenge, but resulted in a 1:35 model that make even the Leopard tank look tiny. It represents a vehicle of the Federal German Air Force (former) 4./FlaRakGrp 43, Leipheim 1999.
