Leopard AS1

The Tamiya Leopard A4 was the basis for this conversion with an Armour Bits update set for Leopard AS1. Australian pattern Jerry cans are from Aussie Armour. The washbowl and cam net are scratchbuilt. Markings are that of 1st Australian Armoured Regiment. All Markings, which are airbrushed, are from the Stencil set Available from Mouse house Enterprises. The model was painted with Humbrol paints, a light wash with enamels, shaded with an airbrush and then a light enamel dry brush followed. The best source of printed reference material for this conversion is the "Battlegroup Leopard" book, by Mike Cecil. The construction time was approximately 60 hours.
