M1A1 Abrams

This is The Dragon 1:35th M1A1 kit. I decided early on to do a complete interior, but unfortunately being my first, I was over enthusiastic and now barely none of the work can be seen. The engine is from the Kirin resin kit. (no.28506). Reference was from Signal Squadron publications, Verlinden Gulf War and vehicle photo publications, and the New Vanguard series.

This vehicle has been on hold for about 5 years! I planned on coupling it with my A88A1 and do an engine changeover, but I've been lazy and need motivation! The fit of the resin engine is quite poor, and I suspect rather incorrect. The model is painted and weathered, as usual, in Humbrol enamels.
