Panther Ausf. G (late)

This is the Shanghai Dragon late Panther IR kit minus the IR lenses. The kit fell together very nicely with no fitting problems. The hull comes with the rails for mounting hardware molded together, this was sanded and replaced with plastic stock. All clasps, clamps and hardware was replaced with left over PE frets and plastic stock strips. PE grill screening was added as well as various weld beads. The model was then primed and shot with Tamyia's dark yellow as well as dark green and brown after which the usual wash and drybrushing was done. The model represents a late Panther G of the Kampfgruppe Pz. Brig. 106 FHH, Bonn march 1945. The two figs. are a mixture of Tamyia and Dragon with the very well done Panzer head set from Ultracast.
