MAN 22.240 Heavy Utility Truck

The MAN 22.240 10-ton truck is used by the Federal German Forces for all transportation tasks which do not necessarily require off road abilities.

The model was kit-bashed using an Austrian Vacuform kit and parts from a Revell 10-ton mil GL truck as a base. Most of the detail was scratch-built from styrene sheet, plastic, metal and resin parts from the spare box. The tarpaulin was made of small wooden sticks and styrene stripes, covered with "canvas" made from a supermarket plastic bag and detailed with wire. Painting was done with Tamiya Acrylics.
