Pz. II Ausf. C

This model represents a PzKpfw IIC of the PzAufkAbt 2 (Recon Battalion) of 12 Panzer Division in action somewhere on the Eastern front. This is the old Tamiya kit of the PzKpfw II. It has been fitted with scratch built rear mounted smoke shell discharge tubes made from styrene sheet and plastic tube. Most of the gear stowed on the back deck and the road wheels strapped to the front are recast plastic from latex molds of original parts from other kits. The flag is from Last Cavalry. The lights are M.V. lenses.

The figures in the background are the old Tamiya German Assault Troops, reconstructed. The knocked out wz.34 armored car in the background is from Encore. All other diorama accessories are scratch built with the exception of the Tamiya street light.
