Merkava 2

This is the AEF conversion with the Academy kit as the base. Additions include scratchbuilt side skirts and their mounting system, rear hull baskets and smoke dischargers mounts. The turret MGs are a mixture of Legend, Blast Models and Academy. Fruilmodel tracks were used and finally a few etch bits such a the turret fire extinguishers and Gahlil brackets were added. The model was painted in Vallejo acrylic followed by oil washes, dry brushing and MMP and MIG pigments.

This is my first model in sixteen years. I hope you think it's of sufficient quality to be shown on this web site (which I think is great!)
