This is the new Academy kit. Aside from having to correct the rear engine plate using milliput and the gun's travel lock being too low ( which I didn't bother to correct ) this kit is superb. I thinned all of the headlight and periscope guards to as close to scale thickness as I could get without snapping them. I also used the very neat Calibre 35 transparent cupola along with the Jordi Rubio barrel and AFV Club tracks.

I used Extracolor Russian green to paint with and for a wash it was Windsor and Newtons ( I think!?! I can't remember for sure at the moment ) and ground pastel chalks finished the job.

As the more astute of you have no doubt noticed I have the wrong drive sprocket on for this particular vehicle and I should have fitted the muzzle break. Oh well I think the overall model still looks good and hope you do as well.

Apologies to all self respecting figure modellers out there I know mine are pretty shocking.

Cheers,
Jay
