This is my LAV-25 "Piranha" during the operation "Iraqi freedom 2003". I started with the Revell Kit in 1/35. All the interior and the engine are scratchbuild from plastic styrene and Evergreen shapes. To make the engine, I formed first the block in resin, than I added different details from wire etc. I still used the Eduard photo etched set to give more realism to the model.
It was painted in Humbrol enamels and weathered with oil-wash and chalk pastels. The figure is from Verlinden and it's painted with Humbrol enamels and oils.
Special Thanks to Mr. Chouman ( http://www.talalchouman.com ), who gave me some inspiration with his 1/16 scatchbuild LAV 25 Piranha.
Thanks ,
